No Friends Book Sale This Year GBP-CAD
The Friends Book Sale is our main fundraising event for the Library
each year. But the 2020 sale had to be cancelled because of the
COVID-19 crisis. Due to the same crisis, providing support
for the South Orange Public Library is more critical than ever.
You Can Help
Since we can’t hold the book sale this year, we need your donation
to help raise $10,000 for Library programs and books in 2020-2021.
Your donation will help the Friends of the South Orange Public Library
fund new books, the film series, the children’s summer reading program, and museum passes, among other Library programs and activities, responsive to the community’s current
needs.
Thank you for supporting your Library—and your community!

"BIN" sorting your books while at home?
The Green Bin in the Library parking lot is open for
business! It's not a place to return library books,
but you can donate books here.
Your books turn into funds for the Library and help spread literacy around the world, courtesy of the Friends' partnership with Better World Books.
In the past nine months, your books raised $1,170!
Books are picked up on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Please do not leave books outside the bin-- if the bin is full, come back another day-- wet books don't help earn money for the Library.
